For some businesses, SEO or search engine optimization gets a large chunk of the online marketing budget. Advocacy startups and campaigns are not “some businesses.”

So should your organization consider SEO? There are many components that go into answering that one simple question. Most people don’t realize how complicated SEO can be and there is no such thing as over night success when investing in SEO. That being said, having your site revamped to be search engine friendly could completely change your results.

Not all organizations need to spend a large amount of money to have successful SEO. You will want to have your online reputation evaluated to determine the budget you will need to see results with SEO. In the end, the number one goal of SEO is to make it easier for potential supporters to find you and engage with you.
